What can I expect from the event? +
Highlights of Holland is an interactive museum where you can discover and experience Dutch culture, traditions, and highlights in a surprising and educational way—all in about 75 minutes.
Does the experience take place indoors or outdoors? +
The experience takes place entirely indoors, so you don't have to worry about the weather!
How long does the experience last? +
A visit to Highlights of Holland takes about 75 minutes. That's plenty of time to explore and experience everything at your own pace!
Can I bring pets? Is my service dog welcome? +
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the experience. Service dogs are welcome.
Is the venue wheelchair-accessible? And are wheelchairs available for rent? +
Yes, the venue is wheelchair accessible. We have one wheelchair available. You don’t need to rent it; it’s free of charge.
Is it accessible to people with (audio)visual impairments? +
Unfortunately, that's not enough yet. This is high on our to-do list.
Are there strobe lights? +
Yes, some sections feature light effects. Visitors who are sensitive to flashing lights are advised to keep this in mind.
Is an audio guide available? +
Yes, we offer audio guides in Dutch, German, French, Spanish, Chinese, and Italian.
Can I reschedule my ticket for a different time? +
We may be able to help you reschedule your ticket or exchange it for a different date, time, or ticket type that is not yet sold out. Please contact us for more information and be sure to include your order number.
Where does the experience take place? +
In the heart of Amsterdam! To be precise, at 460C Spaarndammerstraat.
Is there parking available? +
There is no private parking at Highlights of Holland. However, there are public parking spaces in the surrounding streets. We recommend coming by bike, on foot, or by public transportation whenever possible. If you do come by car, you can park in one of the nearby parking garages, which are about a 7-minute walk away.
Are food and drinks available for purchase? +
Yes, we have drinks and light snacks available on site. Would you like to have a full lunch? If so, we recommend one of the many cozy cafés and restaurants on Spaarndammerstraat; there are plenty of great options just around the corner!
Is there any merchandise for sale? +
Yes, we have a small selection of souvenirs, but there isn't a large store on site.
How far in advance should I arrive? +
We ask everyone to arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled time slot.
What happens if I'm late? +
If you're late, we'll do our best to accommodate you in a later time slot, depending on availability. However, if the experience is fully booked, we may unfortunately not be able to admit you.
Are there places to sit and (wheelchair-accessible) restrooms? +
Yes, there are seating areas at various points throughout the experience where you can take a break. There are plenty of restrooms—both at the start of the experience and halfway through. The wheelchair-accessible restroom is located on the ground floor.
Are lost and found items collected? +
Yes, if you lose something and we find it, we'll hold it for you. Please ask about it at our location or send an email to info@highlightsofholland.com.

Luckily, yes! So on a hot day in Amsterdam, spending 75 minutes cooling off with us is a great option!
